Matt Staude - Hunting Ambassador
Matt was born and raised in southern Wisconsin. He joined the Army in 2005 as an infantryman. In 2006 Matt deployed to Iraq with C co 2-3 Infantry, 3rd brigade 2nd infantry division. Matt was medically retired from the army in 2008.
Matt is married with 3 kids. He enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and hunting in Wisconsin and venturing westward to chase big game.
Matt has been active helping veteran causes through volunteering and fundraising. He has found that time spent in the outdoors is beneficial to his own battles with PTSD. Knowing that nature has helped him, he has made it his mission to get other veterans into the outdoors to experience the healing and benefits nature provides. Matt found Heroes’ Harvests through an event he helped with and believes whole heartedly in their mission. This natural fit has brought Matt into the Heroes’ Harvests team as an ambassador.
